Andhra Pradesh Minister Narayana has assured the rapid completion of development projects for the state capital. Addressing media outlets, he revealed that the authority has granted approval to commence capital projects worth Rs. 8,821 crore. These projects include the construction of trunk roads, LPS layout roads, and bungalows for ministers and judges.
During the 42nd CRDA authority meeting chaired by Chief Minister Chandrababu, Minister Narayana elaborated on several key decisions taken.

Infrastructure Developments and Funding Details
Minister Narayana stated that the government would construct major trunk roads in Amaravati, allocating Rs. 4,521 crore for this purpose. Additionally, Rs. 3,807 crore has been approved by the CRDA authority for the development of LPS layout roads.
Rising Costs in Construction and GST Impact
Highlighting economic factors, the minister pointed out a 28% increase in road construction costs compared to the 2014-19 period. He also mentioned a 35-55% increase in building construction costs and a 6% rise in GST rates.
