Hyderabad: BJP leader and Medak MP Raghunandan Rao received a threatening phone call on Monday, allegedly from a person claiming to be a Maoist from Madhya Pradesh. The caller, who introduced himself as a member of the People’s War group, warned that Rao would be killed by evening.
The call was received by Rao’s personal assistant while the MP was attending an event at a private school. Following the incident, Raghunandan Rao immediately lodged a complaint with the police.
