Hyderabad: Mallu Ravi, Member of Parliament from Telangana Congress Party, has dismissed media reports suggesting that ten Congress MLAs held a secret meeting. Speaking to the press, Ravi stated that the claims were unfounded and clarified that Jadcherla MLA Anirudh Reddy had only invited available MLAs to a dinner at a hotel, where they discussed party matters.
Ravi expressed frustration over the rumors, which claimed that certain MLAs were considering leaving the party. He attributed these rumors to a strategic attempt by the BRS (Bharat Rashtra Samithi) to create confusion. Ravi clarified that, contrary to the reports, only eight MLAs were present at the gathering, and that the BRS had leaked information to the media, sparking false reports on social media.

The MLAs reportedly involved in the dinner meeting included Anirudh Reddy (Jadcherla), Bhupathireddy (Nizamabad Rural), Yennam Srinivas Reddy (Mahabubnagar), K. Rajesh Reddy (Nagarkurnool), Patoalla Sanjeev Reddy (Narayankhed), Donthi Madhav Reddy (Narsampet), Murali Nayak (Mahabubabad), Megha Reddy (Wanaparthi), and Beerla Ailayya (Aleru).
Ravi also addressed rumors that some MLAs were dissatisfied with certain ministers and their unilateral decision-making in their constituencies. He confirmed that the eight MLAs he spoke to were content with the party’s leadership and the government’s work. Emphasizing that no one had intentions of leaving the party, Ravi reiterated their commitment to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s leadership.
