A major fire broke out at a crackers shop in Sangupet village, Andol Mandal, Sangareddy district, resulting in the destruction of fireworks worth approximately Rs 1 crore. The incident occurred at Katakam Venugopal & Sons, a wholesale and retail outlet set up in the village outskirts for Diwali sales.
Preliminary reports indicate that the fire was triggered when sparks accidentally ignited waste paper used for packing the fireworks. The flames quickly spread across the warehouse, engulfing both the wholesale and retail sections of the shop. Thick smoke forced local residents to evacuate the area in fear.

Firefighting teams arrived promptly and worked intensively to bring the blaze under control. Fortunately, no casualties were reported. Officials estimate that the fire destroyed fireworks worth around ₹1 crore, and a video of the incident capturing the intensity of the blaze has gone viral on social media.
