BRS’s former minister and MLA, KTR, stated that the party had only lost power but not its fighting spirit. Addressing issues at the Gandhi Bhavan, he remarked that the Telangana Bhavan remains lively and active every day. KTR highlighted that the BRS party would soon celebrate 24 years since its founding, entering its 25th year next April. He referred to the previous year as a challenging phase for the BRS party.
He acknowledged an unexpected defeat in the assembly elections, attributing Congress’s victory to promises that swayed voters. KTR also mentioned the imprisonment of MLC Kavitha for five months and pointed out that the BRS party secured no seats in the recent parliamentary elections.

He warned of potential losses in upcoming by-elections in constituencies where ten defected MLAs shifted parties. KTR also pointed out growing discontent against the Congress government within a year of its establishment.
