BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) challenged Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to conduct Assembly sessions for at least 15 days to discuss public issues. Speaking at a meeting with party workers and leaders from Kodangal constituency at Telangana Bhavan, KTR called for deliberations on farmers’ problems, issues faced by weavers, auto drivers, and gurukula schools, as well as government programs.
KTR stated that the BRS is ready to debate not only public issues but also the allegations leveled by Revanth Reddy, including scams and projects like Formula-E. Criticizing the government’s approach, KTR remarked, “Governance is not about holding cabinet meetings for hours to discuss arrests. Real governance involves addressing public issues.”

Narender Reddy Hailed as ‘Iron Man’ of Kodangal
KTR described former MLA Narender Reddy as the “Iron Man of Kodangal,” asserting that Narender Reddy would politically defeat Revanth Reddy in the near future. He claimed that Revanth’s downfall would begin from Lagcherla and accused him of misleading the public with false promises during the previous Assembly elections.
KTR criticized the government for failing to fulfill promises like the farmer loan waiver, stating that the waiver remains incomplete. He accused Revanth Reddy’s family of targeting Lagcherla lands for personal benefits, alleging that the Pharma Village project was scrapped to execute dubious plans.

Allegations of Land Misuse and Police Support
KTR further alleged that Tirupati Reddy, a non-political individual, was causing unrest in Kodangal with police support. He claimed that lands acquired in Kodangal were not being utilized for industrial purposes but were being reserved for Revanth Reddy’s son-in-law.
KTR vowed to raise the Lagcherla land issue in every Assembly session until justice is served. He demanded the immediate release of farmers and party leaders who were arrested by the police in connection with the issue.
