BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has issued a strong response to the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) case filed against him concerning alleged irregularities in the Formula E car racing event. KTR challenged the government to bring the issue for debate in the Telangana Legislative Assembly, stating, “If the government has integrity, they should discuss this matter in the Assembly.” He assured that he would clarify all details regarding the event, adding, “Arrest me this weekend, I do not even need bail.”

In the wake of the case, rumors regarding KTR’s potential arrest have been circulating, leading to heightened security at Telangana Bhavan, the BRS party headquarters in Hyderabad. Large police forces were deployed at the location, and additional personnel were seen arriving after noon today, prompting speculation that the heavy police presence is a precautionary measure in anticipation of KTR’s possible arrest.

In the ongoing investigation, KTR has been named as Accused No. 1 (A1) in the Formula E case, with IAS officer Arvind Kumar as A2 and HMDA Chief Engineer B.L.N. Reddy as A3. The ACB’s inquiry into the matter continues, intensifying the political discourse surrounding the issue.
