Warangal: In a recent address at the Elkathurthy meeting in Warangal, BRS leader K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) raised concerns over the increasing arrests of individuals for questioning government policies on social media. KCR challenged the actions of the police, questioning why they were filing cases against people who were exercising their right to express dissent in a democracy.
KCR emphasized that the public has the fundamental right to question the government and assured that the BRS would stand firm against any injustice. He pointed out that the BRS was committed to protecting people’s rights and would act decisively if any wrong was done to the public.

The BRS leader criticized the police for allegedly stepping into political matters and urged them to focus on their duties. He called for the police to refrain from involving themselves in politics, stressing that their role should be limited to their official responsibilities.
Reaffirming his confidence in the party’s future, KCR stated that the BRS would return to power with full strength if the situation in Telangana worsened. He also mentioned that the BRS Legal Cell would stand by individuals who faced wrongful charges, ensuring their legal protection.
KCR concluded his statement by issuing a clear warning: the BRS would not tolerate unjust actions, and from now on, the party would actively support those questioning the government’s decisions, both in public and legal forums.
