Hyderabad: Telangana Jagruti leader Kavitha has launched a sharp indirect attack on former minister and Suryapet MLA Jagadish Reddy, calling him a “Lilliput leader” and questioning his political standing without KCR’s support. Speaking in Nalgonda, Kavitha said Reddy was the only one to win in the united Nalgonda region but contributed to defeats in other constituencies. She alleged that he orchestrated derogatory remarks against her through party members and warned that attempts to isolate her within BRS would not succeed.

Reacting on social media, Jagadish Reddy wrote that he “bows to Kavitha’s knowledge of his movement journey” and expressed sympathy for her “effort to repeat statements made by KCR’s political rivals.” Former Sheep and Goats Corporation chairman Dudimetla Balaraju Yadav backed Kavitha’s remarks, branding Jagadish Reddy a “big thief” and urging the party high command to take disciplinary action against him and MLA Gadari Kishore.

The remarks follow Jagadish Reddy’s recent interview in which he dismissed Kavitha’s relevance in BRS, saying there was “nothing to discuss about her” and that she would hold little value outside the party. The escalating verbal exchanges have intensified factional tensions within BRS leadership, with growing calls for action against Kavitha from certain party sections.
