Hyderabad: BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Friday confirmed that she had written a letter to party chief and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), asserting that the letter was sent two weeks ago. Speaking to the media at Shamshabad Airport after returning from her U.S. tour, Kavitha alleged that internal sabotage led to the leak of the letter, which was meant for internal party communication.
“There is a conspiracy behind the leak. Some individuals within the party are working with ulterior motives,” Kavitha said. Referring to KCR as a divine figure, she commented, “There are some ‘evil forces’ around him who are damaging the party.”

She clarified that the letter only reflected the views of party cadres and not her personal opinions. “I have no personal agenda. I’ve always written to KCR, but the fact that this letter was leaked is deeply upsetting,” she stated.
Kavitha alleged that covert elements within the party were responsible for the breach, and urged internal reforms to secure the party’s future. “Only if we address the internal issues can the party move forward,” she remarked.

Reiterating her support for KCR’s leadership, she said, “He is our leader, and we will continue working under his leadership.” Kavitha also dismissed any notions of internal family rifts, stating that the family and the party are united.
She criticized both the BJP and the Congress, alleging that they had failed Telangana. “KCR’s leadership remains the only viable alternative for the state,” she concluded.
