Earlier in the competition, Sahrawat achieved a convincing 10-0 victory over Vadlimir from North Macedonia in the pre-quarters. He scored four points in the first round by pinning Vadlimir twice and added two more points before securing another round win. Sahrawat’s consistent and overwhelming victories have fueled optimism that he could secure a medal for India. Sahrawat will face Japan’s Higuchi in the semi-finals on Thursday night, with the potential to bring home another medal for Indian wrestling.
