Chasing 271, India displayed complete authority with the bat. Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal led the charge with a magnificent knock of 116 runs off 121 balls, punishing the South African bowlers across the ground. Captain Rohit Sharma provided solid support with 75 runs off 73 deliveries, building a strong opening partnership.
Following Rohit’s dismissal, Virat Kohli walked in and accelerated the chase with trademark ease. He scored 65 runs off 45 balls, ensuring that India crossed the target with 10.1 overs remaining.
India’s emphatic win not only sealed the ODI series 2–1 but also showcased the team’s strong batting depth and form ahead of the upcoming fixtures.
