With this defeat, Pakistan has been eliminated from the tournament following consecutive losses. Having lost to New Zealand earlier, the team failed to secure the required two victories in the group stage to advance further.
Pakistan’s batting lineup struggled, with Saud Shakeel top-scoring with 62 off 76 balls, followed by Mohammad Rizwan (46 off 77). Openers Imam-ul-Haq (10) and Babar Azam (23) failed to provide a solid foundation, while Salman Agha (19) and Khushdil Shah (38) added valuable runs.
