The collectors have been advised to decide on school closures based on local conditions.

The Nirmal Collector has been directed to evacuate residents from low-lying areas following the opening of gates at the Swarna and Kadem projects. A team of 31 members from the NDRF, equipped with four boats, is being dispatched to Nirmal. Additionally, 20,000 cubic meters of water is being released from the SRSP project, with instructions to take precautionary measures in the surrounding areas if the volume increases.

The Chief Secretary has recommended coordinating with Maharashtra officials to monitor water levels from the region and to establish joint teams with relevant departments for surveillance at culverts and streams. Collectors are encouraged to seek assistance if needed from Hyderabad. Control rooms established in district collectorates are to operate 24/7.
