Hyderabad is facing renewed tension as the Musi River experiences severe flooding. The situation has caused alarm among residents in the surrounding areas. The floodwaters surged following the opening of the gates at Himayat Sagar and Osman Sagar reservoirs. The Musi River is now flowing near the Musarambagh Bridge, prompting authorities to issue alerts to local residents.

In response to past flood impacts, precautionary measures are being implemented. Concurrently,Hydra has shifted its focus to addressing encroachments around Hussain Sagar. Actions are anticipated soon against structures and businesses located within the Full Tank Level (FTL) and buffer zone areas of the lake.

Previously, Hydra took action against businesses such as Thrill City and Eat Streets owned by Saikiran, son of former Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav. Further measures are planned against additional business establishments encroaching on the buffer zone.
