Incident Details
The victim lived with her family in Kukatpally. Her father works as a bike mechanic and her mother as a lab technician. On the day of the incident, the parents were away from home. Upon returning to deliver a box to his son, the father found his daughter dead on the bed with multiple stab wounds and immediately informed the police.
The accused, a class 10 student, had entered the house in the absence of adults, stole ₹80,000, and murdered the girl when she caught him in the act. He reportedly stabbed her repeatedly to ensure she was dead. Police also found that he had documented the steps of the crime beforehand, based on information he gathered online.
Investigation Updates
Initially, police questioned a young man renting the upper portion of the house, but he was cleared of any involvement. Further investigation confirmed that the class 10 student was solely responsible for the murder. Authorities continue to probe the case, while raising concerns over juvenile crime and the influence of online content.
