Douglas M. Hof, husband of U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris, has publicly addressed a past incident involving an extramarital affair. In a recent interview, Hof disclosed that he had an affair with a teacher during his first marriage.
Hof revealed that the affair, which involved a teacher from his children’s school, contributed to the dissolution of his first marriage. “After my first marriage, Keristin and I faced significant challenges due to my actions. I take full responsibility for this. The extramarital affair I had with a teacher played a key role in ending my first marriage,” Hof stated.
Douglas M. Hof married Kamala Harris in 2014, marking Harris’s first marriage and Hof’s second. Harris has since been named the Democratic presidential candidate for the United States.
