Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court is scheduled to deliver its verdict today on petitions filed regarding alleged irregularities in the Group-1 examination evaluation process. Some candidates approached the court seeking the cancellation and re-conduct of the exams, citing procedural discrepancies.
Meanwhile, selected candidates, whose recruitment process has already been completed and appointment orders are pending, have also filed petitions urging the court not to annul the exams. Arguments on these petitions were heard on July 7 before Justice Namvarapu Rajeswar Rao.
Although the Group-1 selection process has concluded, the Telangana Public Service Commission has withheld the issuance of appointment orders pending the court’s ruling. Candidates are closely following developments, as the verdict will determine whether the ongoing recruitment process will proceed or be reconsidered.
