Former minister Harish Rao has launched a scathing critique of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, alleging a decline in the state’s economic growth under his leadership. In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Harish Rao accused the Congress-led government of failing in all sectors within a year, claiming that people view the administration as “ineffective.”
“It is the people who should acknowledge good governance, not you,” Harish Rao remarked, criticizing the Chief Minister for what he described as immaturity and incompetence. He alleged that these shortcomings have created a negative atmosphere across all sectors in the state.
Highlighting the alleged mismanagement of Rs. 7 lakh crore debt, Harish Rao claimed that the expected growth rate has not been achieved under the current regime. “You lack the ability to enhance growth, generate wealth, or distribute it among the people. Instead, you push the blame onto the opposition,” he added.

Harish Rao accused the government of failing to increase revenue, fulfill promises, or maintain transparency. He also compared Congress governance to the lines from Sri Sri’s poem, describing it as “deceit at every step.”
The former minister further criticized Revanth Reddy for spreading what he called “Goebbels-style propaganda” regarding allegations that the previous government had hidden funds. “There is no scope for such concealment in governance,” Harish Rao asserted.
Referring to the Congress’s complaint to the Election Commission to halt the Rythu Bandhu scheme, Harish Rao attached a note and videos as evidence. “Perhaps you don’t remember, but I’ve provided copies of your complaint, the EC’s directives, and your statements for reference,” he stated.
Harish Rao’s remarks come amidst growing political tension in Telangana as the state gears up for the upcoming elections.
