Former Jaggaiahpet MLA Samineni Udayabhanu is poised to resign from the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) and join the Jana Sena Party. Udayabhanu has announced that he will officially transition to Jana Sena on the 22nd of this month in the presence of party leader Pawan Kalyan.
In an exclusive interview with RTV, Udayabhanu confirmed his decision to switch parties and revealed that he has already informed his supporters about the move. He indicated plans to convene a meeting with constituency workers in Jaggaiahpet tomorrow and noted that his supporters will also be joining Jana Sena.
Reports suggest that former minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy is expected to join Jana Sena on the same day. This development is part of a broader trend of discontent within YSRCP, with several leaders preparing to switch parties following the party’s underwhelming performance in recent elections, where it secured only 11 seats.
