As is well known, India launched Operation Sindoor following the Pahalgam terror attack. In the strikes carried out by India, several terror bases in PoK were destroyed. However, it now appears that Pakistan is rebuilding those very bases that were demolished. Fresh visuals of this have recently come to light. It is known that India destroyed several terror bases in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) during Operation Sindoor. The latest visuals make it clear that this terror infrastructure is now in the process of being reconstructed. This makes evident that efforts to restore terror infrastructure across the border are continuing. This indicates that Pakistan is not ready to give up its terrorism. Moreover, it is also learnt that Pakistan is providing financial assistance for these constructions.
As is known, India launched Operation Sindoor in May 2025 in response to the Pahalgam terror attack. In this operation, India’s armed forces carried out airstrikes targeting several bases belonging to terrorist organizations in Pakistan as well as in PoK. These strikes destroyed terror infrastructure linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, and Hizbul Mujahideen. It is known that the Centre announced that a total of nine terror bases were destroyed in these strikes.
However, it appears that reconstruction activity is now underway at some of the terror bases in PoK that were previously damaged. Reports from a few days ago also made it clear that terrorists are setting up small, scattered camps in certain areas near the Line of Control. It is learnt that they are choosing densely forested areas so that Indian intelligence systems, satellites, and drones cannot detect the existence of these structures.
Indian intelligence agencies have identified that Pakistan is now following a strategy of setting up small, scattered terror bases in place of the larger bases that existed earlier. Indian intelligence sources suspect that such construction is taking place in areas like Luni, Putwal, Taipu Post, Jamila Post, Umranwali, Chaprar, Forward Kahuta, China Chak, and Jangalora. Reports also indicate that the new camps are using technical equipment such as thermal sensors and anti-drone systems.
