A crime story involving a “Delhi Lady Don” has drawn nationwide attention. By day, the woman runs a beauty parlour and works as a makeup artist, living an ordinary life. By night, police say she operates a drug network and is known in criminal circles as “Madam Zahar.”
Delhi Police’s Special Cell recently arrested Khushnuma Ansari, alias Neha. Investigations revealed that her Northeast Delhi beauty parlour was merely a front. While locals knew her as a parlour owner and makeup artist, behind the facade she was a key operator in the drug syndicates run by the Lawrence Bishnoi and Hasim Baba gangs. Based on the drugs and network seized, investigators dubbed her “Madam Zahar.” She was apprehended near the Mahipalpur flyover with a large quantity of heroin and other narcotics. The accused is currently under interrogation.

Gang Connections
Police say Neha has maintained links for seven years with gangster Mahfooz, alias Baby Kabooter, a key arms supplier for the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Baby Kabooter is reportedly connected to the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. Neha’s associates have also been named in incidents including a shooting near actress Disha Patani’s residence and the murder of gym trainer Nadir Shah. Authorities found she managed a drug distribution network across Delhi-NCR directly from her beauty parlour.
Women in Delhi’s Criminal Underworld
Neha’s arrest highlights the increasing role of women in Delhi’s crime scene. Earlier, Hasim Baba’s wife Zoya Khan and social media personality Zikra, known for posting firearm reels, had also been apprehended. Women like them often serve as operational heads or intelligence sources for criminal gangs, signaling a shift in the city’s criminal dynamics.
