Hyderabad Police Commissioner Sajjanar has issued strict instructions ahead of the Jubilee Hills by-election. Restrictions will be in force across the constituency from 6 PM on November 9 (Sunday) until 6 PM on November 11 (Tuesday), covering the entire polling period. Additional restrictions will apply from 6 AM on November 14 to 6 PM on November 15 during the counting of votes.
Under the orders, all liquor shops, hotels, restaurants, and clubs must remain closed. For law and order, Section 144 will be imposed throughout the constituency. Gatherings of five or more people within 200 meters of polling stations are prohibited. On counting day, bursting crackers or creating disturbances in roads or residential areas is strictly banned. CP Sajjanar warned that any violation of these directives will invite strict legal action.
