BRS leader and former Minister Harish Rao has sharply criticized the Congress party over issues related to Hydra. He accused the Congress government of targeting opposition parties and engaging in what he termed “diversion politics” under Revanth Reddy’s administration.
Harish Rao claimed that the current government’s administration is characterized by either endorsing or targeting individuals based on their political affiliation. He specifically criticized the handling of cases against Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, alleging that the Revanth Reddy government is deliberately creating mental, political, and financial difficulties for him. Harish Rao accused the government of using Hydra’s issues for political vendettas and of conducting demolitions overnight under the pretext of the Hydra project.
He defended Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, asserting that the construction of colleges by the MLA was conducted with all necessary permits. Harish Rao condemned the six cases registered against Rajeshwar Reddy as politically motivated conspiracies. While he expressed no opposition to the Hydra project itself, he demanded that proper notices and actions be taken in a fair manner and urged officials not to act with undue haste.
