In a significant development, the municipal election results in Kodangal — the home constituency of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy — have drawn considerable attention. The Chief Minister cast his vote in the Kodangal municipality, located in Vikarabad district, which comprises a total of 12 wards. Early results indicate a strong showing by the Indian National Congress in the civic body.
Congress candidates have won six wards so far, while the Bharat Rashtra Samithi secured one ward and the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen clinched another. In the remaining wards, candidates backed by the Congress are reported to be leading, underscoring the party’s dominance in the municipality and marking a notable outcome in the Chief Minister’s constituency.
