Hyderabad: The Telangana government has intensified its focus on lake encroachments, taking a significant step by issuing notices to Tirupati Reddy, brother of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. GHMC officials served the notices to Tirupati Reddy’s residence and office located in the Madapur Amar Cooperative Society. According to revenue officials, the property falls within the Full Tank Level (FTL) area of Durgam Cheruvu. A 30-day deadline has been given for the removal of these structures.

In addition to this, notices were also issued to residents of Nectars Colony, Doctors Colony, Kavuri Hills, and Amar Society, all situated near Durgam Cheruvu. A total of 204 houses received notices from GHMC officials, including properties owned by several IAS and IRS officers, as well as prominent figures from the film and political sectors.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made a crucial statement regarding the demolitions, asserting that if any encroachments by his family members are proven, those structures will also be demolished. In line with this, notices were issued to the residence of his brother, Tirupati Reddy.
