Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to work with dedication and sincerity to achieve the government’s goal of establishing a Knowledge Society. He provided these instructions during a review meeting focused on the Human Resources Department held on Thursday.
Educational Reforms in Line with Global Changes
During the meeting, CM Chandrababu stressed the need to adapt the education system to the changing global and national trends through both online and offline methods. He clarified that the government’s policy does not involve eliminating private education but rather aims to strengthen the public education sector to complement it. His objective is to ensure a balanced educational ecosystem that thrives alongside private institutions.

Empowering Telugu Students in the Knowledge Economy
The Chief Minister expressed his commitment to making Telugu students leaders in the emerging knowledge economy. He urged for initiatives that would secure recognition for universities and institutions at both international and national levels. CM Chandrababu proposed sending dedicated teams to well-established universities worldwide to study and adopt effective teaching and learning methodologies. He called for curriculum updates and actions to improve rankings under frameworks like the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) and global assessments.
Future Initiatives in Civil Aviation, Green Energy, and Tourism
CM Chandrababu also highlighted the importance of preparing the state for future opportunities in sectors like civil aviation, green energy, and tourism. He advocated the creation of specialized universities in these fields to facilitate research and development and ensure robust infrastructure.

Addressing the critical issue of employment and skills development, CM Chandrababu mentioned the integration of five skill development zones with the upcoming Ratan Tata Innovation Hub in Amaravati. He also called for increased attention to vocational education, ensuring students acquire practical knowledge and industry-relevant skills.

The Chief Minister urged school authorities and officials to engage in collective team-building efforts to enhance ratings and improve rankings. He emphasized that officials should work collaboratively to develop the education sector, improve teaching methodologies, and focus on overall student development, ensuring the education system in Andhra Pradesh reaches new heights of excellence.
