Chandrababu Seeks NITI Aayog’s Support for ‘Swarnandhra 2047’

New Delhi: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has urged NITI Aayog Vice Chairman Suman Bery to extend support in realizing the ‘Swarnandhra 2047’ vision. During a PowerPoint presentation on AI-driven development in the state, Chandrababu highlighted various initiatives aimed at Andhra Pradesh’s progress and emphasized the need for NITI Aayog’s cooperation.

The Chief Minister met with the visiting NITI Aayog delegation today, where discussions focused on the state’s Vision 2047, economic development, and the construction of Amaravati.

Suman Bery Recalls Longstanding Association with Chandrababu

Following the meeting, NITI Aayog Vice Chairman Suman Bery recalled his past interactions with Chandrababu Naidu, reminiscing about their first meeting three decades ago when Chandrababu was the Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh. He mentioned visiting Hyderabad along with then-Governor Rangarajan to meet him.

Bery commended Chandrababu’s leadership, stating that while many Chief Ministers have served across the country, Chandrababu’s approach to governance and reforms stood out for their direct impact on people’s lives. He noted that several policies introduced by Chandrababu were later adopted at the national level.

He lauded the Chief Minister for pioneering initiatives in IT promotion, private power plants, airport development, and PPP-mode infrastructure projects. He emphasized that leaders who anticipate future needs and implement policies accordingly bring transformative change to governance.

Bery further remarked that India is at a crucial juncture in its growth trajectory, stressing that missing this opportunity could set the country back in its global aspirations. He expressed confidence that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India is effectively leveraging opportunities for advancement.

Following the meeting, Chandrababu personally bid farewell to Suman Bery, marking the conclusion of their discussions.
