As part of his new responsibilities, Rao was recently felicitated by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu at the state secretariat.

Promoting Moral Values in Society

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the importance of educating the younger generation about the greatness of Indian family systems. He stated that along with quality education, career opportunities, and a bright future, instilling moral values is essential for building a better society. He urged Rao to launch special initiatives aimed at fostering moral values among students and youth.

Naidu suggested organizing discourses, special programs, and events in schools, colleges, and universities to instill positive values. He highlighted India’s unique and rich cultural heritage, emphasizing the need to pass it on to future generations. Furthermore, he stressed the importance of teaching respect for women, elders, and parents, while addressing the adverse influences affecting students and youth in the modern era.

Plans for Implementation

Chaganti Koteshwara Rao assured the Chief Minister that efforts would be made to impart moral values through teachings from Sumati Satakam, Vemana Satakam, moral stories, and motivational sessions. He added that discussions have already been held with Minister Nara Lokesh to implement these initiatives within the education department.

This meeting marked Chaganti Koteshwara Rao’s first visit to the secretariat after his appointment. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu inquired about his well-being and honored him with a shawl and a statue of Lord Venkateswara, symbolizing respect and encouragement for his new role.
