Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, condemned the Pahalgam incident, calling it the pinnacle of terrorist brutality. He warned that those who resort to violence will eventually be destroyed by it. Speaking at the ‘Rozgar Mela’ at the Marri Chenna Reddy Human Resource Development Center in Hyderabad, he assured that the Narendra Modi government is fully committed to wiping out terrorism. He said that decisive and impactful measures—ones that will send a strong message to Pakistan—are on the horizon. He urged the entire nation to stand united as the central government prepares to take bold steps in this fight.

At the event, Bandi Sanjay was joined by GST Chief Commissioners Sandeep Prakash and V. Sampoorna. He described the ‘Rozgar Mela’ as one of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s most important initiatives and praised him for following through on the promise of generating one million jobs. Since its inception in October 2022, 14 such melas have been organized, resulting in 925,000 job appointments. The current phase is being held simultaneously at 47 locations nationwide, with 51,000 appointment letters being distributed. In Telangana, Hyderabad and Secunderabad hosted the event, where around 700 candidates are expected to receive appointment letters from the MCHRD center. Bandi Sanjay shared his pride in personally handing letters to 100 candidates and encouraged the new recruits to work diligently and make a mark in their roles.
He also highlighted that programs like Startup India, Standup India, and Make in India are motivating Indian youth to become entrepreneurs rather than just job seekers. He credited the Modi government for safeguarding India’s economic stability during the global crisis brought on by COVID-19 through the Atmanirbhar Bharat package.
