New Delhi: Following the Pahalgam attack, the Indian Army conducted Operation Sindoor, targeting terrorist camps across Pakistan. Several major terror bases were destroyed, and tensions between India and Pakistan escalated into a four-day conflict before both countries agreed to a ceasefire.

Post-operation, terrorist activities in the region saw a decline. However, the Delhi bomb blast triggered a resurgence of terror activities, leading to multiple arrests.

BSF Foils Infiltration Attempts Along LoC

BSF Inspector General Yadav stated that 69 terror camps along the Pakistan side of the Line of Control (LoC) are under surveillance, with 100–120 terrorists reportedly waiting to infiltrate. The BSF’s G Branch is monitoring movements and activities of these terror groups, ensuring tight border security.

In 2025 alone, terrorists made four infiltration attempts, but eight infiltrators were neutralized by BSF forces, Yadav said.

During Operation Sindoor, multiple terror launching pads along the LoC were destroyed, although some remain active. Yadav described the operation as a significant success for the BSF, highlighting coordinated action with the Indian Army in neutralizing threats and securing the border.
