Hyderabad: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has announced a key legislative meeting on March 11 (Tuesday) at 1 PM at Telangana Bhavan, under the leadership of party chief K. Chandrashekar Rao. The meeting comes ahead of the upcoming Assembly budget sessions.
KCR’s absence from the Assembly since the party’s defeat in the last elections has been a significant political discussion in Telangana. He last attended the Assembly on the day of the previous budget presentation but has not returned since.
However, sources indicate that KCR is likely to participate in this year’s budget sessions. Reports suggest that he has informed party leaders about his decision. The announcement of the legislative meeting being held in Hyderabad further strengthens the speculation of his attendance.
Party leaders have stated that if KCR had opted to skip the budget sessions, the legislative meeting would have been conducted at his Erravalli farmhouse instead. The decision to hold the meeting in Hyderabad is being seen as confirmation of his participation in the Assembly. Social media posts from party members have also echoed this development.
