The BRS party has escalated its attack on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy by filing a complaint with the Enforcement Directorate (ED) against his son-in-law, Goluguri Sathyanarayana Reddy. The complaint, submitted by BRS leader Manne Krishank, accuses Sathyanarayana and Maxbin Pharma Company of bank fraud and fund diversion, demanding a detailed investigation.
According to the complaint, Sathyanarayana owns 16 lakh shares in Maxbin Pharma, where he serves as a director alongside Annam Sarath. Additionally, he reportedly holds 21 lakh shares in another company. The ED had previously filed cases in July against Sathyanarayana’s family, naming Goluguri Ramakrishna as an accused in allegations of significant financial misappropriation.
Manne Krishank alleged that the Goluguri family has been involved in multiple financial frauds, including the diversion of bank loans to family members and other businesses. He further stated that CM Revanth had proposed transferring farmers’ lands in the Kodangal constituency to Maxbin Pharma, raising concerns about irregularities in the company’s financial dealings.
“The ED is already investigating fraud allegations against CM Revanth’s son-in-law’s family. Today, new suspicions have emerged about fund diversion involving Maxbin Pharma. I have filed a complaint requesting the ED to probe the company’s financial transactions thoroughly,” said Krishank. The ED has accepted the complaint, and an investigation into the allegations is likely to follow.
