Nalgonda: BJP leader Boora Narasaiah Goud has criticized MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy for focusing on securing a ministerial position instead of addressing Nalgonda district’s development needs. Speaking at the inauguration of a new BJP office in Choutuppal Mandal, Goud challenged Rajagopal Reddy to resign if he believes in his own capabilities, questioning his commitment to public service.
Goud and Rajagopal Reddy share a long-standing political rivalry. Goud defeated Rajagopal Reddy in the 2014 Bhuvanagiri MP elections as a BRS candidate, while in 2019, Rajagopal Reddy’s brother Venkat Reddy won an assembly seat, intensifying tensions. Following disputes over constituency tickets, Goud joined BJP, while Rajagopal Reddy continued his political journey through Congress and later BJP.
