BJP Legislature Party leader Maheshwar Reddy has claimed that the Congress high command is planning a leadership change in Telangana. He stated that the party has already replaced its Telangana in-charge and is now preparing to remove Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. According to him, newly appointed Telangana in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan has been tasked with executing “Mission CM Change.”
Maheshwar Reddy alleged that the Telangana cabinet is facing internal conflicts, with ministers operating independently. He also criticized CM Revanth Reddy’s recent remarks seeking blessings from women, claiming that his continuation in office depends on the approval of Meenakshi Natarajan. He further stated that the Congress leadership is considering appointing a minister from the current cabinet as the next chief minister.

He also accused Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy of obstructing Revanth Reddy’s decisions and directly reporting Telangana affairs to the party’s central leadership. He claimed that Uttam played a key role in preventing Revanth Reddy from securing an appointment with Rahul Gandhi and was instrumental in replacing former Telangana in-charge Manickam Tagore with Meenakshi Natarajan.
Additionally, Maheshwar Reddy alleged that both Uttam Kumar Reddy and Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy are involved in corruption. He claimed that Ponguleti is imposing excessive “P-tax” collections and taking a 50% share in disputed land regularization deals. He further alleged that the Congress high command has directed Revanth Reddy not to interfere in their ministries.
