Ministers Bhatti Vikramarka and Uttam Kumar Reddy visited Nalgonda district today, where Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka addressed the media. He highlighted the government’s commitment to its promises, stating that the second phase of the loan waiver was completed in July, benefiting farmers across the state.
According to Bhatti Vikramarka, loans up to Rs 1.5 lakh have already been directly deposited into the accounts of 5,45,407 farmer families. In total, Rs 12,289 crore has been waived in two phases. He also announced that the third installment of the loan waiver will be rolled out on August 15, reaffirming the government’s pledge to waive off loans up to Rs 2 lakh by August.
