Hyderabad: Union Minister and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay has alleged that former Chief Minister and BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao received police notices due to alleged illegal activities during his tenure. Reacting to a fresh summons in the phone tapping case, Sanjay claimed that not only his phone but also those of his family members and staff were tapped under the previous government.
The MP further alleged that private conversations between couples were recorded, destroying personal lives. He stated that he would share all relevant information with the investigating officers. Bandi Sanjay had earlier appeared before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in connection with the same case. The latest notice, issued by Jubilee Hills ACP, has directed him to appear again on July 24 to record his statement.
