Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha narrowly avoided a serious accident on Sunday. The incident occurred when a car in the minister’s convoy suddenly braked, causing the minister’s vehicle, traveling behind, to collide with it.
The accident took place in Kaikaram, Unguturu mandal, Eluru district, as the convoy was en route from Vijayawada to Alampuram in West Godavari district. Reports indicate that the driver of the escort car applied the brakes abruptly to avoid a bike.
Although both the Home Minister’s car and the escort vehicle sustained minor damage, no injuries were reported among those in the vehicles. Following the accident, Minister Anitha continued her journey to Alampuram in another vehicle. Officials have confirmed that everyone involved is safe and expressed relief at the lack of serious injuries.
