AP Govt Announces ₹50 Lakh Financial Aid to Family of Martyred Army Jawan Murali Nayak

Amaravati: Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan, paid a heartfelt tribute to Army jawan Murali Nayak, who made the ultimate sacrifice defending the nation’s borders. On the arrival of Murali Nayak’s mortal remains at Kallithanda village in Satyasai district, Pawan Kalyan visited the family and offered his condolences. The martyred jawan’s body reached the village late last night, where Pawan Kalyan, traveling by a special flight, reached the location this morning.

At the site, Pawan Kalyan laid floral tributes at the martyr’s body and later consoled the family. During this emotional moment, the Deputy CM was moved to tears. Alongside other ministers, including Lokesh, Satyakumar, and Savitha, Pawan Kalyan reassured the bereaved family of the full support from both the central and state governments.

Pawan Kalyan announced an immediate financial assistance of ₹50 lakh from the state government to Murali Nayak’s family. Additionally, the government has decided to honor the martyr by establishing a memorial, including a bronze statue, at the district headquarters.

Further, Pawan Kalyan pledged five acres of agricultural land and 300 square yards of residential land to the family, and assured government employment for one family member. He also made a personal contribution of Rs 25 lakh to support the family during this difficult time.

Pawan Kalyan expressed his readiness to assist in any way needed and prayed for strength for the family. He described Murali Nayak’s sacrifice as a source of inspiration for the nation’s youth.

The government has planned military honors for Murali Nayak’s last rites. The jawan, a member of the Agniveer program, was killed during a clash on the Jammu-Kashmir border on Thursday night.

Film actor and Hindupuram MLA, Nandamuri Balakrishna, also announced financial assistance, contributing his monthly salary. Balakrishna will visit Murali Nayak’s village, Kallithanda, on May 12 to offer condolences and provide additional financial support to the family.
