Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday stated that his government has initiated the first step towards good governance in line with the promises made to the people. Speaking at an extended party meeting held at the TDP central office in Mangalagiri, the Chief Minister emphasized that the administration is committed to rebuilding the state and fulfilling the aspirations of its citizens. He also warned MLAs to remain accessible and responsive to public concerns.
Naidu said the state was steered from “destruction to development” following the previous government’s failures. “We must clearly outline our future plans. We have delivered justice to all as promised. Ours is the party that defined true welfare and implemented reforms responsibly. It is crucial to communicate our achievements to the people,” he noted.
He stressed that despite the challenges following state bifurcation, Andhra Pradesh remained resilient. “We have already charted our vision for the next five years. We don’t believe in blackmail politics. The Centre is extending its support, but several issues still need resolution—this remains our primary goal,” he said.
The Chief Minister added that priority would be given to the service, industrial, and agricultural sectors. He said the government has increased pensions as promised and is ensuring minimum support prices for farmers. Naidu also highlighted digital governance efforts, noting that nearly 500 public services are now being offered online through WhatsApp, with plans to expand to 701 services by August 15.
