YSRCP leader Ambati Rambabu lambasted Chandrababu for failing to fulfil his promise of providing Rs 15,000 per child under the ‘Thalliki Vandanam’ scheme. Addressing the media on Thursday, Ambati Rambabu criticized Chandrababu, stating, “Chandrababu promised Rs 15,000 per child, but now he is backtracking on his commitment. I appeal to the mothers and families who trusted and voted for him to remember this betrayal.”
Highlighting the delay in disbursing the promised funds, Ambati Rambabu contrasted Chandrababu’s unfulfilled pledges with what he described as Chief Minister Jagan’s track record of delivering on election promises promptly. “If Jagan were in power, the money would have been deposited in every mother’s account by the end of June,” he asserted, questioning Chandrababu’s sincerity in governance.
Ambati Rambabu accused Chandrababu’s party of reneging on its manifesto promises, particularly regarding the ‘Thalliki Vandanam’ scheme, which initially pledged Rs 15,000 per child but now appears to have changed course. “This is not just a broken promise; it’s a betrayal of trust,” he emphasized, urging alliance leaders to address these discrepancies.
Asserting the YSRCP’s commitment to its electorate, Ambati Rambabu underscored their mandate and demanded accountability from Chandrababu and alliance leaders regarding their shifting statements on welfare schemes.
