Al-Falah University has come under intense scrutiny following the recent car blast in Delhi’s Red Fort area, in which several doctors associated with the university were linked to terrorist activities. In a major development, the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) has revoked the university’s membership, citing inadequate institutional standards. AIU has also directed the university to immediately remove its logo from all platforms, including its official website, which is currently non-functional.

In addition to AIU’s action, the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has issued show-cause notices to Al-Falah University. NAAC found that the university was falsely claiming accreditation on its website despite lacking proper recognition, prompting the regulatory body to take strict action.

The Delhi blast investigation has already resulted in the arrest of several Al-Falah University doctors, including Dr. Shahin, Dr. Mujammil Ganai, Dr. Adil Ahmad Rather, and Dr. Ahmad Mohiuddin Sayyad. Preliminary findings indicate that the suspects were planning attacks in four major locations across India, further intensifying the scrutiny and legal action against the university.
