The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has once again summoned former minister K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) in connection with the Formula E case, directing him to appear for questioning at 10 AM on Monday. This comes after an earlier notice issued on May 28, which KTR could not attend due to his scheduled visit to the United States for the BRS Silver Jubilee celebrations. Following the conclusion of his U.S. trip—cut short due to the sudden demise of Jubilee Hills MLA Maganti Gopinath—ACB has issued a second summons.
In the case, KTR is named Accused No.1, senior IAS officer Arvind Kumar as Accused No.2, and former HMDA Chief Engineer B.L.N. Reddy as Accused No.3. All three were previously questioned separately by the ACB, which had indicated the possibility of further examination if required. KTR had earlier stated via social media that he respects the law and is willing to cooperate, despite calling the case politically motivated. With the fresh notice now issued, ACB is expected to continue its probe in the coming days.
