Ibrahimpatnam: In a significant development in the Agrigold lands case, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested Jogi Rajeev, the son of former minister Jogi Ramesh. The ACB has been conducting extensive searches at Jogi Ramesh’s residence in Ibrahimpatnam since the morning, involving 15 officials.
During the searches, the ACB officials discovered that Agrigold lands, which were subject to CID confiscation, had been bought and sold in Ambapuram. Jogi Rajeev claimed that his arrest was motivated by a grudge against his father, asserting that their land transactions were conducted in the same manner as others.
The FIR includes several individuals: Jogi Ramesh (A1), Jogi Rajeev (A2), Adusumilli Mohan Ramdas (A3), Adusumilli Venkata Seetha Mahalakshmi (A4), Village Secretariat Surveyor Dedipya (A5), Mandal Surveyor Ramesh (A6), Deputy Tahsildar Vijay Kumar (A7), and Mandal Tahsildar (A8).
