Hyderabad: BRS President K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) has instructed party MLAs and MLCs to strongly raise public grievances, including dried-up crops, power outages, irrigation water shortages, and drinking water scarcity, during the Telangana Assembly and Legislative Council sessions.
Chairing the BRS Legislature Party (BRSLP) meeting at Telangana Bhavan on Tuesday, KCR directed legislators to attend sessions 30 minutes in advance and actively participate in debates. He urged them to launch a relentless fight against corruption and anti-people policies of the Congress government while countering alleged false accusations against the BRS.

He also instructed legislators to press the government on pending retirement benefits for employees, delayed Dearness Allowance (DA), and the implementation of the Pay Revision Commission (PRC).
The BRS chief called for accountability on the fulfillment of promises made to women and questioned the government’s alleged delays in implementing the “Six Guarantees.” He further directed party members to demand the release of overseas scholarships for students and highlight declining standards in the healthcare sector.
Additionally, KCR instructed legislators to raise concerns about the implementation of sheep distribution and fisheries development schemes. Stressing that BRS should serve as the voice of the people, he called for a strong stance in holding the government accountable for governance issues affecting Telangana citizens.
