On the occasion of Republic Day, the central government announced the recipients of the prestigious Padma Awards, recognizing individuals for their outstanding contributions across various fields.
Notable among the honorees, actor Nandamuri Balakrishna has been conferred with the Padma Bhushan award, while social worker Mandakrishna Madiga has received the Padma Shri for his efforts in social service.
A total of 113 individuals have been awarded the Padma Shri, 19 recipients received the Padma Bhushan, and 7 have been honored with the Padma Vibhushan.
