A major political development unfolded near Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence in Delhi as police detained Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, during a protest demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Congress leaders had staged a sit-in protest outside Modi’s residence, demanding that Pradhan resign, along with Modi and Amit Shah.
The political atmosphere intensified further when Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav joined the protest site directly in support of the demonstration. This prompted Delhi Police to step in and attempt to restrain the protesters, deploying heavy security forces in the area.

The situation turned into high drama when Rahul Gandhi lay down on the road as police attempted to detain him. As he refused to budge despite repeated attempts, police forcibly dragged him along with Akhilesh Yadav and several senior Congress leaders into police vehicles. During this process, Rahul Gandhi suffered visible distress and bled from the nose.
