The Telangana Assembly continued its proceedings on Tuesday, with opposition parties demanding a discussion on the Lagcherla incident. The opposition’s persistent calls for a debate led to chaos in the House. Despite protests from BRS and BJP members, the ruling party passed three significant bills:
1. Young India Physical Education and Sports University Bill
2. Universities Amendment Bill
3. Telangana GST Amendment Bill
These bills were approved without any debate. The session also included a brief discussion on the state’s tourism policy before the House was adjourned to Wednesday.
