Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has received a letter from YCP MLC Taneluk Ravi Narayana, addressing concerns about Leham Food Products. In the letter, Ravi Narayana highlighted several recent criticisms about the company and urged the government to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter. He pointed out that while the local Panchayati authorities permit the facility solely as a cold storage operation, there have been reports of livestock slaughter activities taking place in the area, causing distress among locals and farmers.

Local Residents Raise Concerns
The letter also brought attention to the impact on the local community. Residents reported an intense foul odor emanating from the area, which has led to widespread discomfort. Ravi Narayana emphasized the cultural significance of the region, known as the birthplace of Adikavi Nannaya Yagam and visited by notable poets like Tilak, stating that livestock slaughter occurring in this historically significant area is deeply concerning.

The letter requested the authorities to shut down the factory, acknowledging the mental and economic distress faced by local farmers and residents. The political community and public are now keenly awaiting Pawan Kalyan’s response to the concerns raised by the YCP MLC.
