YCP MLC Duvvada Srinivas made critical statements regarding the arrest of Tollywood actor Allu Arjun. He accused the coalition government of masterminding Bunny’s arrest under its direct influence. Srinivas also criticized Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for acting in haste concerning the arrest. He cautioned individuals who target artists, warning that they would eventually face repercussions. Additionally, he expressed his sorrow over the tragic death of a woman in the Sandhya Theatre incident.
Challenges Coalition Government Over Arrest Attempt
Srinivas alleged a conspiracy to arrest him during the coalition government’s tenure, stating, Arrest me if you can. I will stay here and wait to see who attempts to arrest me.” He pointed out that the police had not provided any specific location or date in the 41A notice issued to him. He also demanded that after Pawan Kalyan is arrested, the coalition authorities should proceed to arrest him next. Srinivas claimed that facing legal cases is not new for him, having already been implicated in 18 cases. He warned that during Achennayudu’s political strategies, the police would inevitably face challenges. He further threatened to bring the matter of 41A notices before the courts.

Notice Issued by Police
Yesterday, the police issued a 41A notice to Duvvada Srinivas. This followed an earlier incident where Duvvada made controversial comments about Pawan Kalyan while pointing a shoe at him. The police visited his house in Tekkal following a complaint from Jana Sena leaders about an attack on the party office. The notice summoned Srinivas for an investigation.
Srinivas accused the coalition government of targeting both him and Madhuri with abusive calls and language since taking office. Despite filing complaints against these actions, he questioned why no action was taken. Srinivas firmly stated, “I am not someone who would be intimidated by any number of cases filed against me.”
